My 2020 Health Goals

Believe it or not, my health goal this year is to have less health goals — or to at least stress less about having a set goal with fitness or diet. I want to focus more on a healthy mindset, as I continue to make good choices with my diet and overall wellbeing. 

Healthy Body

Sometimes we get so obsessed with how we can improve, that we don’t just listen to our bodies in the moment and go by how we are feeling. 

I have a very healthy palette and love to fuel my body with foods that are nutritious and make me feel my best, but I’m also not going to stress if I indulge in some cake too. 

I do however think it’s so helpful to have healthy prepped food for the week if you have a busier schedule. It also saves you money and having to think too much about food. 

Go Methodology

Go Methodology (@gomethodology on Instagram) has been perfect for me. They are a delivery service that provides prepared meals based on your diet and health goals. They have so many vegan, paleo, and keto options! Their ingredients are amazing and their recipes are so unique. It’s honestly been so fun trying out all of their dishes. Sometimes I’ll take their dishes and add them to my own recipes, and sometimes I’ll just have their dishes on their own too. They’re so so delicious. 

I’ve also realized it saves me money since I’m eating out way less. Highly recommended! 

Fitness

As for fitness I want to listen to my body, walk more, and do less cardio. Maybe take a dance class here and there. Care less about my six pack and a booty, and more about feeling good and enjoying my days.

Five Minute Journal

I absolutely love my Five Minute Journal. I take a few minutes in the morning to write down three things I’m grateful for, three things that would make the day great, and an affirmation. Before bed I write down three amazing things that happened during the day. It helps me to start and end my day feeling grateful.

The 90 Day Planner

I am obsessed with this planner by BossBabe. It’s amazing for setting goals and making sure I accomplish them. It’s like a planner and journal all in one!
