Ways I Combat Anxiety

Highline Wellness Products

My #1 go to for anxiety — Highline Wellness products. I take their CBD oil tincture everyday. I also make hot chocolates with the mint flavor one mixed in… it’s SO GOOD. When I have anxiety, I tend to hold a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck, so I always love their essential oil roll on, bath bombs, and their CBD creams.

A Good Book Before Bed

I’m currently reading The Power of Now, which is amazing so far. I love biographies or self-help books for something light and inspirational to calm me down before bed.

Meditation

Headspace and Calm are two great meditation apps that I consistently use… especially during my wind-down time before going to sleep. Justin and I will fall asleep to a 10-20 minute meditation. I’ve struggled with falling asleep and insomnia a lot in the past, so taking time to wind down is super important to me and has helped immensely.

Dosist Pen

Now everyone will have their opinions on THC products… so if it’s not for you, no judgment! But my Dosist Sleep and Relax pens that contain both CBD and THC have truly changed my life. At my peak time of insomnia (going through a break up that caused me to be very anxious), this pen helped me calm my mind and rest. I still to this day go through stages of needing it, however I try my best to not be reliant on anything so I take breaks when I feel the rest of my ‘wind down’ process is enough.

Melissa Wood Health App

Melissa Wood-Tepperberg offers meditations and yoga flows on her app and whenever I’m feeling extra buzzzzy and stressed, I will do one of her workouts or wake up and do her 10 minute meditation and it sets the day up in a much more calm state.

I am very grateful to have access to products and things like these, however I do think the most important factors to combat anxiety are self-love and care (being nice to your mind and body), being cautious of where and who you’re giving your energy to, and making sure to move your body and meditate (however meditation looks to you). Everything I mentioned in this blog post has truly helped me so much, and I hope some of these things can can help you too!
