Favorite Cafés & Date Night Spots in LA - Updated for 2020
I wanted to make an updated list of spots in LA I’ve been loving recently since a lot has changed this year. Whether you’re looking for a café with great outdoor seating, a beautiful dinner for date night, or something a little more casual, I’ve got you covered! Writing a little bit about why I love each one of these cafés and restaurants below.
Cafés
S.O.L
An Aussie café located in West Hollywood. Great menu, great coffee, and great outdoor seating.
Go Get Em Tiger
Amazing coffee!! Some of the best I’ve ever had. They have a few new locations too! Love their macadamia milk.
M&LOVE
A small, cute, Aussie-inspired café in Manhattan beach. All vegan and gluten-free, very healthy, and cute for to-go coffee and quick bites. I love their bagels, lattes, and bliss balls.
Kreation
Love their coffee, drinks, and outdoor seating. Not in love with their food, but there is something for everyone and many healthy options. My current favorites are the Black on Black, Blue Majik Latte, and Slim Master juice.
Breadblok
Located on Montana Avenue and they just added outdoor seating! An all gluten-free café and bakery with housemade nut milks and freshly baked breads.
Date Night

Haven’t been, but DYING to go!! Beautiful outdoor seating, options for everyone, and I’ve only heard amazing things.
The Rose Venice
One of our favorite spots for date night with a great outdoor seating area.
Catch LA
Very trendy and good for a fun night out!
Great White
This one is a little more chill if you’re looking for that! Good food and good vibes.
Élephante
Perfect for date night! It’s right in Santa Monica and walking distance to the Promenade and beach.
