Bali Dreaming: Part One

Arrived in what may become home one day. This place is everything I dreamed of and more. The people I’ve been surrounded by, the places I’ve seen, the food I’ve eaten…

I can honestly say, I’ve never been this happy in my life.

I came here with Karmagawa (@karmagawa), a new and innovative charity company, that invited me to Bali to participate in yet another school opening they put on. We got to show these young little kids their brand new school and supplies. The looks on their faces made my heart melt. We also got to celebrate the work they did in South Africa to help save the rhinos with Vet Paw (@vetpaw). There’s a video my good friend Sam (@sam_kolder) made showcasing their whole filming experience, and its absolutely incredible. Highly recommend watching it.

I’m so lucky someone like Timothy Sykes (@timothysykes) asked me to be involved with his charity and got to be around creative people that want to spread awareness and a positive message.

Now…

After my amazing experience with Karmagawa, I moved down the street to spend time with some friends that have lived in Canggu, Bali for a couple years. We had previously all met in India, and had the best trip of our lives, so I was very excited to spend time with them again. Lauren, Ellie, and I love our cafes. We have gone to so many already.

The cafes here are an absolute

I’m going to do a cafe guide to Bali in the near future. So I’ll save details on that. But let me just tell you…

Here, the coconut milk lattes… life changing.

Raw bliss heaven.

Everything you eat is a piece of art.

Sunsets have been so beautiful. Usually, I’ve been viewing them on the back of a scooter, at the beach with a coconut in hand, or roadside looking over the rice fields.

I’m very thankful for my friends, Jack and Lauren (@doyoutravel & @gypsealust), for being the most amazing hosts, my Bali mom and dad, and showing me their favorite places. PLEASE adopt me!

So far, Bali has been amazing and wonderful and exactly what I needed. I can’t wait to show you guys more in my next posts! Let me know some of your favorite places and why you love them!
